My feet are swollen like crazy. Of course. But aside from that, a good friend, his lovely wife and their beautiful daughter came down to Arizona to visit friends and family from Utah and we went and had a wonderful lunch at Pita Jungle. It was divine. The lunch was great too.
Overall, my feedback on the medication are as follows:
- I hate the way it makes me swell up. It’s frustrating and uncomfortable.
- I am happy that I can eat now and not get sick. That’s been one of the best benefits to taking the medication.
- The aftertaste of the medication is disgusting and it takes hours to get it out of my mouth.
That’s really it. I mean, the fact that I can eat and hold food down now is a huge plus and I’m willing to put up with the other, as long as it’s something that my body eventually acclimates to and the swelling subsides.
I will say, at this point, I’m not ready to add another medication to the mix to help with the swelling. I think, I just need to roll with it for the time being.
As for the other symptoms, I seem to be doing better. The yellowness seems to be fading some, the bruises from the IV’s at the hospital are going away and I don’t think I am as tired as I have been. At least, I don’t feel as tired tonight.
In the end, the biggest issue is the swelling and the swelling is keeping me in bed after work – with my feet up. I hate being in bed. It’s only fun for a few days, trust me.
